Adenia pechuelii is a caudex plant endemic and emblematic of Namibia.
A species of the Passifloraceae family, it lives in extremely stony environments or even in rocky gaps.
Its caudex can reach almost 1m in diameter.
It is accustomed in its environment to desert conditions, strong heat and strong sun.
Young seedlings must still be protected from too strong sun.
